Prahran

Project Prahran is nestled amongst a curated row of one way streets. A dominoes effect of heritage listed, weatherboard workman’s cottages, on small blocks that average 5 meter gable roofed facades sums up the area. Working in conjunction with Junctions 90 to optimize living meterage without compromising room size-comfort and quality, the result is fit for purpose to the exacting clients brief. Key architectural contributions to this project include the first floor addition which is polite in its materiality ensuring zero conflict with the original heritage form whilst respecting the heritage of neighbouring counterparts. Interiors of darkened wooden floorboards and fresh white walls along with burnished concrete were incorporated to curate spaces of effortless living within the 100 sqm plot size.
