Windsor

Project Windsor is located in the inner city of Melbourne, rooted deeply in its mixed urban residential setting by the heavy textured precast concrete panels, softened slightly by the uniformed timber battens. The solid front elevation, in form and materiality, does not give away a less than obvious floor plan. The north-west centre courtyard showcases the first floor glass bridge that acts as the conduit to the traditional space representing the private sleeping quarter. Unassumingly the courtyard including the swimming pool is fully suspended with a full basement underneath a tight urban plot. This project delivers in urban dense living, materiality & constructability excellence.
